President Salva Kiir, FVP Riek Machar discuss unification of forces.

Juba, Friday, May 3rd, 2024 – His Excellency President Salva Kiir Mayardit and First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar Teny convened on Friday to deliberate the execution of Phase Two of the Security Arrangements. Both leaders reached a consensus that the secondary training of the Unified Forces will commence within the forthcoming two weeks.

Honorable Tut Gatluak Manime, Presidential Advisor on National Security Affairs, reiterated the unwavering commitment of both factions towards enacting pivotal clauses of the peace agreement, with the ultimate aim of fostering enduring peace and stability nationwide.
