Governor Rin Inaugurates First Aliap Community Conference in Mingkaman, Advocates Unity and Progress

Awerial, April 28th, 2024 – His Excellency Lieutenant General Rin Tueny Mabor inaugurated the inaugural Aliap Community Conference in Awerial County, marked by the theme “United for Progress and Development.”

Governor Rin Tueny championed open dialogue among Aliap Community members, stressing the significance of expressing opinions freely and without fear. In his address, he lauded the strides made in promoting harmony and unity throughout his three-year tenure.

The Governor fervently urged intellectuals to eschew tribalism and sectionalism, calling for solidarity under the leadership of Bishop David Akau Kuol. He underscored the imperative of unity in transcending divisive barriers.

Furthermore, Governor Rin appealed to the Aliap community to maintain amicable relations with their neighbors in Terekeka and Bor Counties, emphasizing the necessity of peaceful coexistence for regional stability and prosperity.
