Juba, 8th August 2024 – President Salva Kiir Mayardit has called for increased cooperation among economic institutions to address the nation’s economic conditions, during the swearing-in ceremony of Gan Samuel Bwogo as a new 2nd Deputy Governor of the Bank of South Sudan.
In his address, President Kiir stressed that collaborative efforts among the Central Bank, the Ministry of Finance, and other economic agencies are crucial for stabilizing the economy.
The Head of State urged the newly appointed Deputy Governor and other officials to prioritize constructive dialogue and coordination to enhance financial governance in the country.
President Kiir’s call for unity among economic stakeholders reflects a growing recognition of the need for collective action to turn the tide of the country’s economic fortunes.
