𝐉𝐮𝐛𝐚, 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫,𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒—President Salva Kiir Mayardit and his delegation have returned to Juba after participating in the just wrapped up Forum on 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐚-𝐀𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭 in China’s Beijing.
The Minister of Presidential Affairs, Amb.Chol Mawut Ajongo, said the 2024 China-African Cooperation summit upgraded the bilateral ties between South Sudan and China into a “strategic partnership”, advancing modernization and building a community with a shared future.
On the sidelines of the summit, President Kiir remarkably held a series of high-level engagements with some African leaders, which largely focused on mutually beneficial cooperation and development for the two sisterly nations.
The Head of State was warmly received at Juba International Airport by the First Vice President, Dr. Riek Machar Teny and other high-ranking government officials.
