𝐉𝐔𝐁𝐀, 𝐖𝐄𝐃𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐃𝐀𝐘 (𝐀𝐔𝐆𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝟐𝟖, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒)–H.E. President Salva Kiir Mayardit has returned to Juba after participating in the unveiling of Raila Odinga’s candidacy as the chairperson of the African Union Commission.

Upon arrival at Juba International Airport, Minister of Presidential Affairs, Chol Mawut Ajongo said president Kiir, as the chairperson of East African Community, joined other regional leaders to endorse Raila Odinga for the chairperson of AUC.

President Kiir also engaged with members of the Tumaini initiative to discuss the progress made during the peace negotiations with holdout groups.
